Leidos Special Mission Aircraft

Leidos Multi-Mission Aircraft
Based on the King Air 350, the Leidos Multi-Mission Aircraft (LMMA) is our latest airborne ISR solution. The LMMA contains an ISR Pod with rail system for rapid sensor integration, a Star SAFIRE EO/IR system that is HD/MWIR/SWIR capable, a laser illuminator, and integrated GeoFOCIS software. This enables enhanced mission management and GIS visualization.
AgilePod®
Leidos has developed and demonstrated integration of advanced airborne sensors utilizing open architectures. This integration enables collection capabilities to be chosen based on the mission need, rather than on their relationship to other proprietary host platform components. Our AgilePod® common payload framework enables the user to create the right pod configuration to fit the mission sensor requirement.
Manassas Aviation Facility
Leidos operates a thriving, full-service aviation integration and maintenance facility with over 45,000 square feet of hangar floor space equipped with modern tooling and test equipment and staffed with highly skilled technicians based at Manassas Regional Airport, VA. Our wide range of capabilities includes airframe integration and maintenance.

Conducting airborne special missions on behalf of the Australian government, including surveillance, search and rescue, mission aircrew training, and aircraft design modifications.
Mobile Force Protection
As part of the DARPA MFP program, we are developing a range of technology advances to enable rapid detection, identification, tracking, and neutralization of adversary sUASs — all while mitigating collateral damage.

Through our modern facilities and highly skilled technicians, we deliver training processing, research and development, geospatial technology services, and operational support to our customers, as well as mission support to the ARTEMIS and HR3DGI programs.

We also provide integration of weapons systems, sensors, as well as advanced aerial/terrestrial ISR Mission Equipment Packages (MEP) and Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) technologies into airborne platforms, Command and Control (C2) centers, and their associated mission networks to infuse operations with ISR data.
