We conduct aerial border surveillance and search-and-rescue operations spanning the country’s exclusive economic zone and SAR region. Across Australia, we employ more than 300 people with our headquarters in Adelaide, South Australia and operating bases in Queensland, Victoria, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory.
Our in-house engineering capability supports our fleet and enables us to combine state-of-the-art technology with complex air platforms to deliver customised special mission solutions. Airborne Surveillance
We provide fixed wing border surveillance services under contract with the Australian Border Force.
This is the World’s largest outsourced civil maritime surveillance operation, patrolling Australia’s 8.2 million square kilometre Exclusive Economic Zone.
Search & Rescue
We provide fixed wing search-and-rescue response capability over land and sea on behalf of the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA).
To provide this capability, we designed, integrated, commissioned and now operate a fleet of Challenger jets that contain some of the most sophisticated, state-of-the-art technology ever to be integrated into a civil SAR platform.
Mission Aircrew Training
Outside of the Australian Defence Force, we are the largest employer of mission aircrew in Australia and currently runs a highly specialised mission aircrew training system that trains more than 30 mission aircrew per year.
Aircraft Design And Modification
Our in-house engineering and modification capabilities provide bespoke platform solutions.
Mission Equipment Service Centre
Our Mission Equipment Service Centre is the only facility of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, offering specialized support for Electro-Optics/Infrared (EO/IR), MX-series turrets, radars, surveillance sensors, and integrated surveillance systems.
