From HBCUs to Leidos
The talent needed to grow our business depends on cultivating a workforce rich in diversity of thought, experience, and culture. For many of our employees that graduated from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), their HBCU experience was pivotal in shaping them into the professionals they are today. We foster relationships with HBCUs through our participation as an industry partner with consortiums like Advancing Minorities' Interest in Engineering (AMIE); a coalition of corporations, government agencies, and ABET-accredited HBCU engineering schools that aim to attract, develop, recruit, and graduate minorities in computer science and engineering. We’re committed to establishing long-term strategic partnerships that result in a hiring pipeline of qualified candidates with diverse perspectives and skills necessary to meet business needs.
Watch the video below to meet some of the proud HBCU alumni and learn more about their experiences at Leidos in our social media series #LeidosHBCUGrads.
