The industrial sector is the largest energy consumer in the U.S. economy, accounting for nearly one-third of the nation’s energy use. And yet the huge potential to reduce energy demand at industrial sites goes largely unrealized, despite the availability of utility programs, project incentives and technical support.

In order to engage and motivate industrial customers to unlock their energy savings potential, it takes real-world experience, a firm understanding of business needs, and effective outreach tactics. For more than 15 years, Leidos has designed and implemented energy efficiency programs for the industrial sector on behalf of utilities across the country. These utility programs go beyond the typical incentive offerings by focusing on all categories of industrial energy use, including processes, equipment and unique facility requirements. In addition to the cost and facility benefits, our program approach helps to strengthen the relationship between utilities and their customers – leading to other energy management and demand response opportunities.
