Leidos will feature many of its cyber and mission software solutions at next week’s Air, Space & Cyber Conference in National Harbor, Md.

Why you should know: It’s the largest tradeshow of the year for the U.S. Air & Space Forces Association (AFA).

Nearly 12,000 experts will be on hand to demonstrate their latest technology from space systems to electronic warfare capabilities to artificial intelligence (AI).

For Leidos, the major theme for the event is modernization for perpetual advantage.

What to expect:

  • On Monday, Leidos expert Robert Epstein will join a panel to discuss architecture for JADC2, the Department of Defense’s ambitious plan to synchronize digital technology across service branches.
  • On Tuesday, Leidos expert Thomas P. Michelli will discuss the latest advances in cyber technology, including cyber resiliency for space systems and advanced battle management systems.

Throughout the week, Leidos experts will present “tech talks” at Booth #1310 on a variety of topics, including:

  • Digital modernization. Leidos expert Jo Kovba will explain how Leidos Edge-to-Cloud technology can turn data from remote mission locations into insights for mission success.
  • Cybersecurity. Leidos expert Meghan Good will discuss what makes Leidos a top cybersecurity partner to the U.S. defense and intelligence communities.
  • Mission software. Leidos expert Paul Burnette will discuss solutions that can help protect legacy mission software systems that may be vulnerable to emerging cyber threats.
  • Trusted AI. Leidos expert Tifani O’Brien will discuss Leidos AI models that are secure, resilient and maintainable at scale.

From the source: “We’re excited to demonstrate our capabilities and expertise to our partners next week,” says Mike “Boe” Boera, Leidos Vice President and Air Force Strategic Account Executive. “Our partnership with AFA runs deep, and we’ll always strive to serve the best interest of the U.S. Air and Space Forces.”
