Leidos named Supplier of the Year for Corporate Responsibility by Duke Energy
(Reston, Va.) Nov. 9, 2022 – Leidos (NYSE:LDOS), a FORTUNE® 500 science and technology leader, was recently named Supplier of the Year for Corporate Responsibility by Duke Energy. The award recognizes the company’s commitment to sustainability and its efforts giving back to the local community. The honor was presented as part of Duke Energy’s annual Supplier Exchange Forum which took place on Sept. 12 in Charlotte, NC.

Leidos was recognized for providing mentoring and professional development for small and diverse businesses that work with the company on Duke Energy projects. Leidos was also recognized for its diverse talent recruitment efforts and its environmental responsibility practices that advance sustainability in conjunction with Duke Energy’s clean energy transformation.
The Supplier Exchange Forum provides an opportunity for Duke Energy to host many of its top suppliers. In addition to hearing from Duke Energy leaders on the company’s plans for the future, the event presents three prestigious Supplier Excellence awards for corporate responsibility, supplier diversity, and safety performance.
Since 2007, Leidos has been providing power delivery services for Duke Energy. Leidos’ work includes solutions for electric power substations and transmission and distribution lines.
