Leidos Employees Honored at Annual Women of Color STEM Conference

Nineteen Leidos employees were recognized at the 2022 Women of Color (WOC) STEM conference and awards, held Oct. 6-8 in Detroit. The conference and awards recognize outstanding women in the STEM fields and provide opportunities for professional development, networking, and recruiting.

“We are beyond excited to celebrate these phenomenal women for their tremendous accomplishments”, said Tashi Carper, Director of Inclusion and Diversity at Leidos. “These women are changing the game and the face of the industry, charting the path forward with their extraordinary innovation in STEM, and inspiring the next generation.”

Antoinette Ward, AI ML Operations Service Delivery Manager for the Defense Group, received the STEM Professional Special Recognition award.

Six employees received Technology All-Star awards, which recognize accomplished women of color from mid-level to advanced stages of their careers. These employees have demonstrated excellence in the workplace and in their communities. They are:

• Kjersten Kipp, Systems Engineer, Defense Group
• Helena Lee, Senior Software Developer, Civil Group
• Minghua Lu, Principal Systems Engineer, Civil Group
• Robin Phillips, DHMSM Sustainment Lead, Health Group
• Alexis Seth, Innovation Lab Project and Program Manager, Health Group

Twelve employees received Technology Rising Star awards, which recognize women who are helping to shape technology for the future. They are:

• Kerryann Hamm, Senior Security Systems Engineer, Defense Group
• Sourichanh Huynh, Technical Product Lead, Intelligence Group
• Shaneka Lewis, Cyber Software Engineer, Intelligence Group
• Anatalia Macik, Director, Bid and Proposal, Civil Group
• Kendra McFarlane, Cyber Operations Manager, Defense Group
• Linda Nguyen, Lead Web Designer, Civil Group
• Tam Nguyen, Senior SharePoint Developer/Administrator, Civil Group
• Padmaja Sidhatham, Systems Engineer, Intelligence Group
• Tuanh Tran, Senior Information Systems Architect, Defense Group
• Lisa Tyo, Performance Management Manager, Defense Group
• Kendra Woodbridge, Senior Programmer Deputy Resource Manager, Defense Group
