International Women's Day through the eyes of scientists

Play

Every day, women like Mae Jemison, Katherine Johnson, and Barbara McClintock are recognized for their significant contributions to science. The glass ceiling is breaking, and women are being recognized as colleagues, teammates, and leaders in scientific innovation.

At Leidos, scientific innovation happens every day, due in large part to our belief that inclusion is fundamental. It enables us to engage our talented community of employees in a meaningful way and increases the diversity of thought crucial to our business and the important work we do every day.

This International Women’s Day, Executive Vice President and Health Group President Liz Porter says, “Leidos is proud to celebrate women in science, especially our employees, who are addressing the world’s most challenging problems and helping us reach our customers' most ambitious goals.”
