How a “selfie” on a mobile application enables faster customs processing
John Mears, vice president and technical fellow for homeland security solutions at Leidos, was recently featured in Passenger Terminal World’s biometrics feature titled Face the Future. Mears is a recognized expert on border and port security, biometric traveler verification, national-scale biometric systems, and post-pandemic travel transformation. He has testified before the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology on the “Current and Future Applications of Biometric Technologies” and served on Congressional panels addressing uses of biometrics technologies.
