Andrew Campbell appointed Vice President Business Development, Leidos Australia
(MELBOURNE, Australia) August 17, 2023 – Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a FORTUNE 500® science and technology leader, has named Andrew Campbell as Leidos Australia’s Vice President, Business Development. In his new role, Mr. Campbell will lead the local team of capture and business development professionals responsible for all new in-country business pursuits.
Mr. Campbell, who was the company’s Director of Capture Operations, started in his new role on August 14. At the same time, Leidos Australia’s previous Vice President Business Development Hans Tench moved into the newly created role of Vice President Asia Pacific Business Development and Australia Strategy.
Mr. Campbell brings over two decades of business development, programme management and business operations experience to the role. He first joined Leidos Australia in August 2016 as a Capture Manager, becoming Head of Capture Operations a year later, before being promoted to Director Capture Operations in August 2020. Prior to joining Leidos, Mr. Campbell worked for Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems in the UK, working across a range of program management, operational and business development roles.

Mr. Campbell has a Bachelors’ degree of Engineering in Ship Science from the University of Southampton and is part way through an Executive Masters of Business Administration with the Australian Graduate School of Management at UNSW. He is a graduate of the Lockheed Martin Engineering Leadership Development Program, the Executive Development and Growth Enhancement Program, and the Lockheed Martin Business Development Leadership Academy.
