Workforce Demographics
Leidos recognizes that people are the foundation of everything that we do. We utilize strong workforce data analytics and participate in benchmarking studies to understand industry trends, meet our people goals, and continuously develop practices that deliver results for our customers as well as attract, develop and retain our employees.
Transparency
We publish our workforce data demographic data—by race and ethnicity, education, veteran status, age and gender, on a yearly basis. Education, veterans status, and gender are provided for our international workforce and ethnicity is provided for our US workforce. In 2020 we began publishing our EEO-1 Reports. This commitment to greater transparency holds us accountable year over year and is critical to understanding our progress against our 2030 Next Level Leidos ESG Goals.

UK Gender Pay Gap
Creating an environment that encourages people from all backgrounds to flourish is really important to Leidos. We demonstrate this through our shared values, behaviours, and the mission-based work we do. We celebrate diversity and inclusion as an employer and encourage our employees to invest in activities that put these values at the heart of our organisation. This includes the seven Employee Resource Groups including the Women’s group that make a significant impact on the culture of the organisation and initiatives including a return-to-work programme that was launched in 2023. All this work has contributed to a double digit increase in female employees joining Leidos U.K. in the last 12 months. Overall, 2023 has been a strong year for Leidos from an employee recruitment and retention perspective. Leidos increased overall headcount by 13% during 2023 and grew female representation from 26% to 29% within Leidos U.K. (an increase of 10% over the period). Female promotions accounted for 33% of all promotions in 2023 and 31% of internal recognition awards. Our voluntary (addressable) attrition reduced to 11.6% in Dec 2023 of which 3.6% were female.
