Steve Hull
President, Digital Modernization Sector
Steve Hull serves as President for the Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos. In this role, he is responsible for executing a complex portfolio of programs supporting cyber operations, applications modernization and sustainment, IT infrastructure modernization, and end user services for federal clients in the defense, intelligence, health, and civilian sectors.
Prior to leading the Digital Modernization Sector, Hull served as operations manager for Enterprise and Cyber Solutions business, where he was responsible for supporting enterprise IT for defense customers. Prior to that he was chief information officer (CIO) for Leidos, responsible for establishing and executing the IT strategy to promote business growth, provide data and system resiliency, foster business agility, and ensure operational readiness across the $14B Leidos enterprise, while supporting the overarching IT vision and strategy of the corporation and protecting corporate assets. He joined Leidos in 2016 as part of the Lockheed Martin (LM) Information Systems and Global Solutions (IS&GS) merger after having spent nearly 20 years with LM and subsequently led the successful IT integration post-merger.
Hull brings more than 30 years of experience in the IT field. He has held multiple positions supporting corporate IT functions and supporting direct business. His roles have included program manager, chief technology officer, chief information officer, and executive leader.
Hull is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in computer science with a minor in physics and a Master’s in Business Administration. He has held several technical and business certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Project Management Institute, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
