The Strategic Diversity Outreach Program Office creates robust strategies, tools, and resources that advance representation and retention of underrepresented groups, and enhances our external reputation through partnership with professional organizations and underserved communities.

Support traditionally under-served communities through relevant programming and services.
Campus
Strategic Partnerships with Minority Serving Institutions provide access to students and alumni well-suited to fill intern, co-op, entry-level, and experienced professional positions.
Campus engagement involves an expanded reach across various Minority Serving Institutions in order to recruit talent from a vast array of backgrounds with the broad experiences and perspectives needed to create innovative solutions at Leidos.
Currently, Leidos partners with the following institutions Alabama A&M University, Hampton University, Howard University, Morgan State, Norfolk State University, Prairie View A&M University, University of Arizona, University of Central Florida, University of Texas, San Antonio, University of Houston and Tuskegee University.
The talent needed to grow our business depends on cultivating a workforce rich in diversity of thought, experience, and culture demonstrated by:
- Attracting and hiring qualified candidates into our applicant pool
- Removing barriers to retention and advancement
- Establishing processes that support talent mobility across the corporation

Our campus recruiting strategy extends beyond talent attraction to include meaningful engagement with faculty as well as research sponsorship.
