How it works
- Join on a permanent, full-time basis
- Attend graduate induction
- Spend the first 12 months as a graduate, starting in late January each year
- Share in diverse perspectives from an assigned mentor from a different area of the business
- Be paired with a buddy to help you navigate how things work
- Connect with your fellow graduates at monthly meet-ups
- Receive support, training and networking opportunities during your year
- Gain professional and technical skills through development training and on-the-job experiences
- At the end of the graduate year, you can choose to work in the area you started in and further develop your strengths and capabilities, or explore other opportunities based on your aspirations and the needs of the business
- Roles are based in Canberra across our Kingston and CBD sites, or Melbourne across our Scoresby and CBD sites
Our intern / industry-based learning program
There’s no need to wait until you graduate to gain hands-on, industry experience. Ideal for students in their penultimate year of studies, this is an exciting opportunity for curious minds intrigued to discover what’s possible. You could even be the catalyst for an idea that helps our team solve complex problems that others can’t.
How it works
- Join on a full-time basis for a paid 12 months, starting early February each year
- Gain professional and technical skills through training and on-the-job experiences
- Be paired with a buddy to help you navigate how things work
- Roles are based in Melbourne across our Scoresby and CBD sites
- Based on performance, students who are successful in completing an internship are likely to be offered casual/part time employment whilst you return to your final year of study and ongoing full-time employment upon successful completion of your degree
- Receive support, training and networking opportunities during your year
Our traineeships
In partnership with the Indigenous Defence & Infrastructure Consortium (iDiC), we’re proud to create opportunities to support indigenous traineeships that pave the way for exciting industry careers for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Through engaging work and exposure to diverse teams, we’ll support, train, develop and help you to grow the skills to succeed.
How it works
- 3 year program, starting at different times throughout the year
- Study part-time to complete a certificate or diploma qualification
- Be paired with a buddy to help you navigate how things work
- Receive support, training and networking opportunities throughout
- Gain professional and technical skills through development training
- Join on a part-time basis
- Roles are based in Canberra across our Kingston and CBD sites, or in Melbourne at our Scoresby and CBD sites
The recruitment process
Here’s what you can expect from the recruitment process. Rest assured we’ll stay in regular touch along the way and we're always happy to respond to all the queries you have.

The process starts with an online application form where we will ask you to answer some questions and to attach a copy of your resume, transcript and any other supporting documentation you feel will support your application.

Once we have reviewed applications, we will invite shortlisted candidates to the next stage and request completion of a set of questions for the role(s) you have applied for. Each candidate invited to this assessment will receive a deadline for their submission so we can keep our process fair.

Successful shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend our final stage assessment.
If you are successful, we will conduct backgrounds checks.

From here, we will making offers of employment to commence with us the following February.
