Employment Verification
Current and former Leidos (formerly known as SAIC, employment prior to September 28, 2013) employees can provide proof of employment and income with secure, 24/7 access through a toll-free number and website.
Current and former employees initiating verification
If you are an employee initiating verification, supply the firm or agency with the following:
- Your Social Security number
- Leidos (formerly SAIC) employer code: 12275
- One-time use salary key (only needed for income verification). To establish a salary key, call 800-367-2884 or go to The Work Number® and select the "Enter Employee Section" link.
If you left Leidos (formerly SAIC) prior to September 28, 2013, please use the above instructions.
If you left Leidos (formerly SAIC) prior to 2003, please email [email protected] or phone 1-855-5LE-IDOS (855-553-4367) and select #3.
Outside firms requesting verification
If you are an outside firm verifying someone's employment and/or income at Leidos (formerly SAIC), you will need:
- Employee's Social Security number
- Leidos (formerly SAIC) employer code: 12275
- Salary key provided by the employee (only needed if you are verifying salary)

Social Security agencies requesting verification
If you are a social service agency verifying someone's employment and/or income at Leidos (formerly SAIC), you will need:
- Registered fax number of your social services agency
- Leidos (formerly SAIC) employer code: 12275
- Employee’s Social Security number
