Astronaut Health & Performance
In the past decades, Leidos has been supporting NASA in its human spaceflight mission as that mission has grown and evolved. We perform research to reduce health and performance risk and enable the astronauts research mission through pre-flight training and conditioning, on-orbit support of research operations, and post-flight data collection and mission close-out.
Cargo Engineering & Logistics
Leidos is an essential part of the NASA team to ensure mission success. We create and sustain some of the items on ISS for NASA. ISS Modules are supplied with thousands of these items from Leidos.
Payload Research & Tech Demo
Leidos supports ISS and ISSNL research with end-to-end mission integration, managing operations through NASA’s REMIS contract. We offer innovative tools for high-quality science and technology in Low Earth Orbit and beyond.
Mission Operations
Leidos provides mission planning and preparation, astronaut crew and Mission Control Center (MCC) flight controller training, and real-time flight execution services to NASA’s Human Spaceflight Programs. Programs supported include the ISS, the Orion MultiPurpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV), the Space Launch System (SLS), the Commercial Crew and Cargo, Gateway, and Commercial Space Operations. We leverage our expertise in operations for other entities to bring innovations and efficiencies even establishing our own commercially available Leidos Operations Center (LOC).
